What is Strategic life coaching?

Good question. Well, Strategic Life coaching is a process that helps people make the most of their lives. So, if you’re feeling frustrated with how your life is currently going, or have aspirations to change your life for the better, then coaching will help you to make some changes.

Most people go through life doing jobs they hate, in relationships that don’t fulfill them, living generally uninspiring lives. They get to the end of their life, look back and wonder “How on earth did I end up here?!”

The thing is – it’s so easy to get sucked into day-to-day living and before we know it, another 10 years has slipped by.

Life coaching can save you a decade or so of uninspired living. It provides you with the foresight to stop for a moment now, and think about what kind of life you really want to be living – while you have the time.

The ultimate purpose of life coaching is to help you start living a more balanced, happy and successful life.

How is Zoë B different to other Life Coaches?

Zoë B takes a fresh approach to life coaching and utilises her background as a strategist in corporate advertising to ensure clients are presented with smart, strategic processes to generate fast results.

Zoë also draws on her experiences founding her own marketing business in her 20’s and her general ability to ‘make stuff happen’ when working with clients.

Zoë’s approach is highly intelligent with no fluff!

How is life coaching different to therapy or counseling?

Life coaching provides solutions for you to take control of your life and make some changes to enhance your overall wellbeing. Typically, coaching does not involve lengthy discussions of past behaviors, medical conditions, events or circumstances.

Coaching is about empowering your current self to move forward and make the most of life in the present moment. Seeing as most people don’t know what they truly value in life,  Zoë helps people to understand themselves better so they can start to identify what things will really make them happy.

Coaching is also about understanding how to use your mind more effectively so that you can achieve your goals and Zoë will work through some techniques to ensure your mind is optimised for success, not failure!

Life coaching is not used to treat medical conditions.

What happens during a life coaching session?

Zoë B will ask you questions about your current life and you will work together to identify what you would like to change. A life coaching session may just involve a discussion, or at times Zoë may take you through some Neuro Linguistic Programming (NLP) techniques or strategies to help you see things from a different perspective and to elicit fast changes. Zoë will ultimately work with you to create the life you want.

You may also be given tasks to complete between sessions to ensure you are taking the appropriate steps to change your life for the better.

Zoë B currently conducts coaching from a beautiful clinic in Double Bay, Sydney and also via skype for international clients or those who prefer to work from the comfort of their own homes.

What is Neuro Linguistic Programming?

Neuro Linguistic Programming (NLP) is a discipline that utilizes the way we think, communicate and behave in order to improve our quality of life. Zoë B is a qualified Master Practitioner of NLP and uses NLP techniques to help clients use their minds more effectively and to better manage emotional states such as negative thinking, stress and anxiety.

NLP techniques are widely used by successful people including Barack Obama, Oprah Winfry, Bill Clinton, Tony Robbins and Russell Brand.

How many sessions will I need?

The number of sessions you need is dependent on a few things such as:

How clear you are about what you want to change in your life

How much personal development work you have done in the past

Your current attitudes and beliefs

How willing & ready you are to commit to the coaching (including the completion of any tasks set outside of the sessions)

 

Some clients like to work in an ongoing capacity with fortnightly or monthly sessions, other clients prefer to work in short bursts on a specific issue with just a few sessions.

You will discuss an approach that is right for you in your initial consultation session.

How long do the life coaching sessions take?

All life coaching sessions are for a 1 hour period.
